More. More! M-O-R-E! This is my constant refrain. I never seem to be able to grow sufficient to supply just one meal, that alone our F&V requirements. Most frustrating. It would be okay if all we ate were figs, but I am the only taker.
The top photo is a Black-Jack Zucchini I am growing from seed. I planted 4 seeds, and this is the only one to germinate thus far. The bottom photo is one of my bed of Green Runner Beans. I did not manage to construct a method to stop the weight of the produce bending the plant over and trailing the fruit in the dirt. Shall have to get something NOW so I am ready for next time. |
